The RNC Welcoming Committee stands in solidarity with the striking
workers of AFSCME locals 3800, 3801, 3937 and 3260, and urges the
University of Minnesota to meet the demands of the working people who
keep it running.

We believe that revolutionary strength grows out of organizing to demand
what is rightfully ours- no Boss will give us what we aren’t willing to
take. In the world we are building, mutual aid must replace
authoritarian structures; in that spirit, we would like to extend an
offer of assistance in whatever form is most helpful to our striking
comrades.

As we prepare for next year’s Republican invasion, struggles such as
yours remind us that injustice waits for no convention, and neither
should our resistance.
