RNC Welcoming Committee

In the TC? Live indoors? We need your help!

April 3rd, 2008

Dear Friends and Allies in the Twin Cities,

Over the course of the first weekend in May, from May 2nd – 4th, several hundred activists from around the country are converging in the Twin Cities for a strategizing session hosted by the RNC Welcoming Committee (RNC-WC). This event, the pReNC 5.3, will allow people organizing around a common strategy of Crashing the Convention to network and facilitate a further fleshing out of individual groups’ plans for the RNC. As the hosts, the RNC-WC is seeking support from friends and allies within the broad coalition of groups organizing against the RNC to lodge some of these visitors.

Do you have a spare bed or couch in your house or apartment that might be available for a visiting activist? Tenting in yards and sleeping on floors are also perfectly acceptable and greatly appreciated options. Let us know if you can house anywhere from two or twenty people by visiting our website and posting on the housing board. (http://rncwc.informe.com)

Thank you for the support, we’ll see you in the streets!

In Solidarity,
The RNC Welcoming Committee
